The city of Palmerston North has some exciting new spaces.  At the newly re-developed ‘Te Manawa’ museum, which is also home to the NZ Rugby Museum, there are some very unique and interesting areas suitable for meetings and functions.

The large new foyer, with exceptional natural light, has become very popular for conference functions, presentations and exhibition launches.  Its mezzanine is ideal as a stage for performers and has already been used by a small orchestra and a solo singer.  A spectacular mural on its large floor-to-ceiling glass window tells the stories of how Maori arrived in the region and creates a dramatic backdrop to any event.

Te Manawa is only a couple of minutes walk from the CBD and is next to the Palmerston North Convention Centre, making it very convenient location for delegates to access.

There are plenty of other options for meetings and function spaces within the complex including some that can incorporate exhibitions that are on display in the museum.
