It's day seven of 33 Days of Cycling in Palmerston North City & Manawatu, and after the excitement of the New Zealand Cycle Classic, it's an ideal time to focus on what's coming up.

A highlight for our team is The Country Road Manawatu Cycle Classic on 21st April.  We were involved in creating this event from scratch last year alongside event organiser, Selwyn Brown.  We're excited that such a challenging and enjoyable event traverses the beautiful hill country north of Palmerston North City - The Country Road, and will be going through Feilding.

The annual autumn cycle solo and team event of 160km is a bike challenge to match Taupo and Taranaki and caters for all levels of cyclists from premier rider, solo, two-person or four-person relay. Being able to participate in a four-person relay opens up the event to novice cyclists, but not without a challenge.

Visit i-SITE Palmerston North in The Square to collect a registration form or go online.

Good luck!

Oh, and to keep up with the festive atmosphere of the 33 Days of Cycling, check out Sport Manawatu's Pinterest board. There are 44 pictures there to date capturing the action.
