Peep-o-Day Route

Peep-o-Day Route

Aptly named after the Peep-o-Day point, which is the first place in this part of The Country Road in northern Manawatu to see the morning sun. This route has so much to see and do.  The scenery as you drive along is breath taking, and ranges from dramatic limestone cliffs, sweeping valleys, luscious farmland and historical features.  Watch the landscape evolve as you travel through the countryside following the mighty Oroua River, and discover unspoilt, hidden treasures, delightful country pubs and so much more. Whether you are on a bike, in a car or travelling by campervan, this route has something to suit every traveller.
