I love living in Manawatu.  It has so much to offer, especially things that 'push my buttons'!

The great thing about my role is that I'm always 'in the know' about upcoming events, new attractions, and new places to stay and eat. Then I have the pleasure of letting visitors and locals know all about the great things to see and do around here.

I enjoy the fact that I can follow my local ITM Cup team, The Turbos, and especially like it when we defeat the larger provinces at home!  Also, my role has given me the opportunity to be associated with assisting Rugby World Cup volunteers.  It's very satisfying knowing I can be part of such a massive and exciting occasion.

I like getting out and about, so you might catch me enjoying a quality show at Centrepoint, mountain biking along the top of the Tararua Ranges, having coffee at of the Region's great cafes or playing golf.

With a young family I enjoy being involved with their sport and community.  I'm the Chairman of the Parkland School Board of Trustees and I'm involved in managing my son's soccer team.  With the huge number of parks, playgrounds, libraries, swimming holes and activities, we are spoilt for options to take the kids to in the weekends and on summer evenings.

If your organisations regularly holds off-site meetings or other types of corporate functions, consider holding them in Palmerston North City and the wider Manawatu.
