Palmerston North and Feilding are home to the stories of New Zealand's unique culture and heritage (video clip), told through volunteer guides and local experts.

New Zealand's heritage is closely intertwined with farming and rugby. Entire families would work the land, even pitch in on their neighbour's farms to do tasks like cropping, then in their down time play rugby. Transport was via horse drawn vehicles.
