There are parks and there are parks, some so spectacular you just need to return again and again.
Just on the outskirts of Feilding, Kitchener Park is one of these special places. It has had a rough time with flooding in 2004 that did a huge amount of damage, but also created a huge amount of interest. There have been many working bees with hundreds of new trees planted over the years, but the park still retains plenty of its old character.
Just when I thought photo technology designers were surely nearing a moment in time where their creations could not really surprise me at all, I find myself today as excited by the images their current Digital SLR cameras give me as any big kid could hope to be. And the cause of this outburst of inspirational joy? Well, Sharon says, “it’s just a camera”...
