There are parks and there are parks, some so spectacular you just need to return again and again.

Just on the outskirts of Feilding, Kitchener Park is one of these special places. It has had a rough time with flooding in 2004 that did a huge amount of damage, but also created a huge amount of interest. There have been many working bees with hundreds of new trees planted over the years, but the park still retains plenty of its old character. Read more...

Main South Road to be sealed

This is my first blog -hardly knew what the word meant not long ago. Steve & I live on Main South Road, which links Rangiwahia and Apiti –of which 8 kms is unsealed. We have been doing submissions to the Manawatu District Council for several years now and quite honestly getting rather tired of doing them.
