The Apiti Golf Club is 4km north of the Apiti township in the Oroua Valley against the Ruahine Ranges.
With 9 holes, this in one of the last rural golf courses with small greens surround by a fence to keep livestock out. In between golfing, the fairways are grazed by sheep, keeping the grass nice and low.
Apiti is a true golfer's dream as there is very little run due to soft grassy fairways. There are not too many trees to couse concern but every hole has an out of bounds.
Open on Sundays from 12:00pm, or alternate times by arrangement with Dennis McKenzie +64 6 328 4874
