About the Artist:
"Hello, I’m Alana both a traditional and digital artist for outdoor and indoor artwork, from the Wairarapa, but now residing in Palmerston North.
As a lifelong artist with a deep passion for creativity, I love transforming spaces with vibrant visuals that uplift the spirit and inspire lasting happiness every time someone gazes at my artwork.

I enjoy painting bold, vibrant, and cheerful pieces that bring warmth and happiness, as well as calm, serene creations that restore hope and melt away anxieties.

A common denominator in my work is birds.
I choose to work with this combination of subject matters due to the beauty and graceful nature of birds that represent freedom and praise as they rejoice when they sing.

I would describe my style as being mystical realism. I still place my subject matter in it’s natural environment; however, the atmosphere is too perfect to be real, giving that mystical sense to my artwork.

A lot of my ideas stem from biblical references. I subtly weave the themes of rejoice, peace, love, harmony, beauty, and royalty into my artworks and title names."
