DAHLIA is a funky, groovy, pop band that consists of 5 students from Nga Tawa and Freyberg schools, all aged 15-17 years old. We love to write original music including our fan favourites "Downtown" and "Mars", alongside performing some popular covers from time to time. We've had huge successes as a band in competitions such as Play it Strange, and Smokefree Rockquest. We've recently placed 2nd in the Smokefree Rockquest Manawatu Finals for the second year in a row, and have just submitted a video for National Finals selection! We're excited to share our passion with the NZ Blues, Roots and Groove Festival!
