How to Transform your Life - meditation workshop

Does it feel as if your life is getting busier and busier and it becomes harder and harder to keep your mind peaceful and calm?
In the book How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso we are told that when the turbulence of our distracting thoughts subsides, and the mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. This feeling of contentment and well-being helps us cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life. So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from the mind.
By doing breathing meditation for ten or fifteen minutes, we are able to reduce this stress. We will experience a calm, spacious feeling in the mind, and many of our usual problems will fall away. Difficult situations will become easier to deal with, we will naturally feel warm and well disposed towards others, and our relationships with others will gradually improve.
In this course Birgit will teach and guide us through some simple breathing meditations that will help us to keep our mind peaceful and calm, however busy our life gets.
