Experience original artworks and local stories brought to life after dark through large-scale outdoor projection in Te Marae o Hine.
This year’s theme, Currents of Conservation, follows Ōrea, an ancient tuna kuwharuwharu from Te Awa o Manawatū, on a global journey carrying an urgent call for conservation. The animation brings together endangered-species artworks created by young artists from Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu, guided by local artist Belle Chadwick and animated by UCOL Creative Industries students.
