Mt Lees Reserve

Located in a beautiful rural setting, this unique scenic reserve offers visitors the chance to explore and enjoy the tranquil surrounds.
The sheltered bush walk has two main loop trails. One that loops the bush gully (1.8km long) and another longer loop that follows the boundary of the Reserve (3km). There are two distinctive trees growing within the bush, a large kahikatea, thought to be more than 1000 years old and a 600 year puketea which is listed as one of New Zealand’s distinctive trees. During Spring there is a large display of many varied daffodil.
