When it comes to adventure and fun, Makoura Lodge has it all, just one hour’s scenic drive from Palmerston North. With our wide range of team-building activities and onsite accommodation and dining, it is the perfect complete destination venue for private or group bookings of: conferences, team building, family fun, Christmas celebrations, weddings, stags, and hens parties. All activities are run by a member of staff. Included are instructions, safety, and an account of fierce competition and prize-giving. We have a range of onsite activities, including clay-bird shooting, archery, axe throwing, mini highland games, human sheepdog trials, 4x4 safari or our favourite 4x4 self-drive.
