Join us to usher in the Chinese New Year with an exciting and diverse line-up of activities across the district facilities. We’ll be treated to a tai chi workout, a Chinese calligraphy workshop, demonstrations of the martial art of kung fu from the Shaolin Kung Fu School, traditional dances from the Manawatū Chinese Association, and more!
Enjoy traditional music, indulge in delicious culinary treasures, listen to a story told in Mandarin, witness the incredible Chinese dragon and lion dances to open the year, and take home your very own vibrant paper dragon!
