At the foot of the Tararua Ranges in the Manawatu, nestled amongst a dairy farm is Hewitts Homestead. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation, wedding venue and marriage services including a celebrant on site. Elopement is our specialty.
Surrounded by trees, Hewitts Homestead is the ideal location to rest and relax away from the city. Hewitts Homestead was built in 1888 and has been refurbished quite a bit since then! Sit on the large deck or patio area and have a stroll around the garden whilst listening to native New Zealand birds. We have two horses, a pet sheep that loves attention, chooks, dogs and cats. Hewitts Homestead is also suitable for small groups to stop and relax for afternoon tea. If you are booking for a special occasion, please let us know in advance and we will help with the surprise or event. We are only 5 minutes to Massey University and 9 minutes to Palmerston North centre.

Cancellation Policy:
Guests will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel after reservation and the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival.
