Bring the kids for a whirl on our Christmas carousel - it'll be open all day!
Santa's Cave Tours - 11am - 12pm
From 11am - 12pm our Christmas loving curators will be leading tours through Santa's Cave. Plus, enjoy a pithy commentary from our very own social media superstar, Cindy Lilburn. Tours run every 15 minutes.
Meet Santa - 12 - 2pm
Santa heard Palmy's feeling a bit down about the weather, so he's coming for a special mid-winter visit! Start writing your Christmas wish list for Santa to take home!
Back of House Tours - 1.30pm - 3pm
Join our curators for a Christmas-themed back of house tour of our museum collection. Discover the stories behind the Christmas items in our collection.
Kids Activities
We'll be holding special Christmas themed activities for kids all day - pop over to the room next to Santa's Cave!
Christmas Shopping
A small selection from the Te Manawa Christmas shop will be available, perfect for those looking to get a spot of Christmas shopping done early!
