Unique to Aotearoa New Zealand, Quartz, Museum of Studio Ceramics is the only dedicated museum for studio ceramics and the largest and most diverse public ceramic display in this country. Exhibitions include an overview of the history of New Zealand studio ceramics, focus collections of some of our most acclaimed potters including Len Castle, John Parker, Bronwynne Cornish and Elizabeth Lissaman, and a small international collection. An annual installation is commissioned, and special temporary exhibitions are featured from the Collection, which now numbers more than 4,700 work.
