Terms & Conditions

The ‘Tahatū Careers Expo NZ' giveaway promoter is Central Economic Development Agency Ltd (CEDA), Level One, 5 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North, New Zealand. Now referred to as “the Promoter” throughout.

By entering the ‘Tahatū Careers Expo NZ' giveaway (the Competition), you acknowledge and agree to all competition terms and conditions as outlined below, not limited to any additional terms that may be added at the promoter discretion at any time during the competition period. The competition period is as detailed below.

General terms and conditions

1)  The Competition will be run using the www.ManawatuNZ.co.nz website. Entrants can enter the Competition by completing a form on the ManawatuNZ website, and providing first and last name, email address, and advising if they are a school leaver or careers changer and what sector interested in. The Competition will run from 9am June 25, 2025, to 9am June 30, 2025 (competition period), with the winner being drawn at random on June 30, 2025.

2)  The information provided by the Entrant when entering the completion will be used for the purposes of the Competition and for future marketing communications related to/or by CEDA.

3)  The Entrants information will not be shared with any third parties by the Promoter without the express consent of the Entrant.

4)  By entering the competition, Entrants accept and acknowledge:

  1. a)  The Winner will be selected randomly by a computer process that produces a verifiably random result from those valid entries received during the competition period
  2. b)  There will only be one Winner
  3. c)  The Winner will be contacted directly, by the Promoter, via the email address provided on the entry form
  4. d)  In entering the competition on www.ManawatuNZ.co.nz, the Entrant agrees to share their first and last name, email address, and town of residence with the promoter for the purpose of future communications and marketing activities.

 5)  The Competition is open to all individuals.

6)  Staff and immediate families of the Promoter (or Shareholders of the Promoter) are not eligible to enter.

7)  There will be one winner drawn.  The Winner will be emailed by the Promoter, notifying them that they are the Winner, on or after June 30, 2025, and must contact the Promoter, by return email, within 72 hours of being emailed to ensure there is adequate redemption time for the Prize.

8)  If the Winner fails to respond and contact the promoter within 72 hours of being emailed, a redraw will take place to ensure that the Prize is awarded. 

9) The Prize awarded to the Winner includes the following:

  1. $200 Prezzy card voucher

10) The Prize is non-transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

11) The Promoter’s decision, including any decisions as to the prize distribution, is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.

12) The Promoter at any time holds the right to amend any part of these terms and conditions or cancel the Competition at any time.
