Event Format
The event is open to the public from 3:00pm – 7:00pm.
All attending funders and funding organisations will be available at their stalls to talk at any point during this timeframe.
In addition to browsing the stalls and connecting with funders, we’re also offering a series of informative seminars. These sessions provide deeper insights and practical advice — however, spaces are limited, and registration is essential.
We have three seminars available:
1. Fund Writing Workshop
Time: 4:00pm – 4:45pm
Facilitated by: Eastern and Central Community Trust and the Department of Internal Affairs / Te Tari Taiwhenua
Overview: Writing effective applications from a funders point of view.
2. The Funding Landscape in Aotearoa
Time: 5:00pm – 5:45pm
Facilitated by: Lani Evans from Fundsorter
Overview: Introducing the different kinds of funders, how they operate and their constraints, as well as some other opportunities for income generation.
3. The 7 Requirements for Successful Continual Grant Application Success
Time: 6:00pm – 6:45pm
Facilitated by: WriteFund Collective
Overview: Many nonprofits struggle with inconsistent funding success, often treating grant applications as one-off activities rather than building sustainable funding systems. This practical session reveals the seven essential requirements that separate organisations with sporadic funding from those with reliable, year-after-year grant success.
Whether you're new to funding or looking to strengthen your organisation’s grant success, the Better Together – Manawatū Funding Forum 2025 offers valuable connections, expert advice, and practical tools. Come for the conversations, stay for the insights, and leave empowered to fund your future.
We look forward to seeing you there!
