Join us these school holidays for two weeks of creative, hands-on fun celebrating Matariki and the wonders of space.

Virtual Reality Experiences
Alien Headbands
Seed Planting
Flying Rocket Ships
Spaceward Bound Planetarium Sessions
Spaceward Bound Rover Driving Workshops
Universe Kaleidoscopes
Poolside Crafts at Makino Aquatic Centre

Programme runs from Monday 6th to Friday 17th.

Some activities have limited spaces and require bookings or registration. Age restrictions apply to selected workshops.

Matariki Public Holiday (Friday 10th): Te Āhuru Mōwai will be unstaffed with Open Plus access only. No holiday programme activities are scheduled on this day.

Please note: Children under 8 years of age must be actively supervised and remain in view of a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older.
