The Feilding Marathon started in 1955. It has been held every year since, meaning it now has the reputation of being the 3rd longest "run" of any marathon worldwide. (beat Boston!) This year marks the 70th Feilding Marathon. Still going strong in the rural heartland New Zealand. The Festival also includes the 28th Roy Lamberton Memorial Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and 2.5km run or walk options.
Never run a Marathon? Then why not make Feilding part of your special moment. The event is organised by Feilding Moa Harrier & Athletics Club with all proceeds going back into supporting grass-roots club activities such as youth development, upgrade of facilities, and equipment. We look forward to giving you a very friendly welcome to Feilding whether you are a local or have travelled from afar.
