“Imaginate” celebrates the pure joy of creating for the sake of creating - no pressure, no hidden meaning, no rules. Just your imagination meeting the moment. It’s about playful expression, experimentation, and sharing that spark with the community.
Exhibition Overview
Running from November 2025 to February 2026 in Foxton, this summer-long exhibition will transform our space into an evolving hub of colour, texture, light, and movement. Visitors will encounter everything from a live doodle wall that grows over three months, to sculptural experiments, to digital art and photography. It’s an open invitation for both artists and the public to lean into spontaneity, curiosity, and creative joy.
We’re inviting our Horowhenua community to be part of Imaginate: Imagine, Spark, Create. An Exhibition. If you love to create, make, play, or experiment with art - we’d love to see your work!
This exhibition will be held at Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom from 15 November 2025 to 20 February 2026.
All mediums are welcome: collage, sculpture, photography, digital, mixed media, or something completely unexpected. We are looking for whimsy, joyful and imaginative work that will make exhibition visitors smile.
To submit your expression of interest, please email [email protected] with a short description of your artwork or idea, images (if available) and your contact details.
Expressions of interest close on 24 October 2025.
