Get ready for a joyful celebration of Ireland, filled with lively tunes, beautiful ballads, wonderful artists and plenty of Irish spirit! It’s a Great Day for the Irish brings together the warmth, humour and charm of the Emerald Isle in a concert full of songs we all know and love.
At the heart of the show are our virtuoso duo of fiddler Marian Burns and piano accordionist Tracey Collins, whose wonderful musical partnership brings friendship, fun and authentic Irish warmth to the stage. Joined by our fabulous singers, led by Bonnie, Stu and Russ, we will take you on a musical journey through Ireland, from spirited favourites such as The Wild Rover and Molly Malone to the timeless beauty of Danny Boy and Fields of Athenry.
Expect toe-tapping tunes, gorgeous harmonies, favourite songs and plenty of opportunities to sing along. There’s something wonderfully uplifting about Irish music - it can make you laugh, stir a memory or have you humming before you know it.
Whether you have Irish roots or simply love great music and good company, this promises to be a heart-warming celebration and a great way to start the year.
Come along and let Marian, Tracey and our wonderful singers fill the stage with Irish spirit. It really will be a ‘Great Day for the Irish!’
