Middle Districts Lions Club is the organiser of the annual **Lions Market Day in The Square**, held every Saturday of Labour Day weekend in October.

The Lions Market Day (previously the Old English Faire) has been running since 1956. The Square — the heart of Palmerston North’s shopping area — is transformed into a bustling hub of activity.

The Plaza corner of The Square is home to **over 80 craft stalls**, offering a diverse range of products and experiences for visitors, along with many food trucks. **This year, we’re excited to add a full day of entertainment from local music artists**, bringing even more energy and atmosphere to the event.
