Experience the Manawatū Art EXPO — Nearly 20 Years of Creativity
The Manawatū Art EXPO has proudly stood as the region’s longest running art event for almost two decades, and this year’s exhibition is shaping up to be one of our biggest and most exciting yet.
With artwork from nearly 100 artists - not only from the Manawatū, but from across Aotearoa - the EXPO brings together an extraordinary range of talent, vision, and creative expression. You’ll discover over 1,000 artworks on display, offering something for every taste, style, and curiosity.
Wander through our curated bays featuring work by some of our most established and renowned artists, and explore the general exhibition showcasing fresh pieces from our newer and emerging creatives. It’s the perfect blend of experience, innovation, and discovery.
From traditional mediums like oil, acrylic, and watercolour, to bold, inventive, and unexpected creations, the EXPO celebrates the full spectrum of New Zealand fine art. All works are for sale, and every piece is an original - no prints or reproductions.
Guest Artist 2026: Hamish Macaulay
We’re thrilled to welcome Hamish Macaulay as this year’s Guest Artist.
Hamish is an award winning printmaker and painter based in Kāpiti, New Zealand. His work ranges from conceptual abstraction to figurative landscapes and seascapes, all grounded in a deep connection to nature. Working across painting, printmaking, mixed media, and digital processes, Hamish blends traditional and contemporary approaches to create artworks that offer fresh, thoughtful perspectives on the natural world.
Feature Artist: Salvador Dalí
This year, we’re also showcasing a new selection of Salvador Dalí etchings, which will be on display and available for purchase at the Manawatū Art EXPO. This is a rare opportunity to view - and potentially collect - works by one of the most iconic artists of the 20th century.
Whether you’re an art lover, a collector, or simply someone who enjoys being inspired, the Manawatū Art EXPO is an event you won’t want to miss. Come experience the creativity, the talent, and the vibrant artistic spirit that has made this exhibition a cornerstone of our region for nearly 20 years.
