Ko Matariki te tohu o te tau hou Māori, he wā whakamaumahara, he wā whakatō whakaaro, ā, he wā hoki mō te tīmatanga hou. As we look ahead to a new season of growth and opportunity, we invite you to save the date for an upcoming Māori Business Network Hui for our region.
This hononga is intended to bring together Māori businesses, entrepreneurs, kaupapa leaders, and changemakers from across the Manawatū to strengthen relationships, share whakaaro, and explore how we can collectively shape a thriving Māori business ecosystem grounded in mātauranga, whanaungatanga, and intergenerational impact.
Rather than focusing solely on transactions, this kaupapa asks us to think transformationally:
• How do we grow Māori enterprise while uplifting our people, whenua, and future generations?
• What does meaningful collaboration between Māori businesses in the Manawatū truly look like?
• How do we move from individual success to collective prosperity and influence?
This kaupapa will be an opportunity to connect kanohi ki te kanohi, share aspirations, and begin shaping what the next chapter could look like together under the rising stars of Matariki.
CEDA would be honoured to have your presence as we begin this kaupapa together.
“He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.”
