Join us for a special short heritage train trip as we celebrate Matariki, the Māori New Year. Gather your whānau and friends and enjoy a magical winter evening aboard our beautifully restored heritage train.

As darkness falls, our vintage diesel locomotive will take the train on a journey up and down the Feilding yard. While seated in our authentic 1940s carriages, let the sparkle of lights covering the train transport you into a dazzling mid-winter wonderland. The illuminated carriages create a truly enchanting experience for all ages and provide a unique way to celebrate this special time of reflection, remembrance and new beginnings.
