Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho is a whānau-led art exhibition presented by Te Whānau Chambers, celebrating whakapapa, creativity and the intergenerational passing on of knowledge and taonga.

Featuring 11 adult artists and 10 rangatahi, all connected through the legacy of Winiwini Chambers (née Paora) and Trevor Chambers, who raised their family in Foxton, the exhibition spans painting, photography, kākahu, kete, carving and taonga pūoro, reflecting both traditional and contemporary Māori artistic practice. For many participants, this will be their first time exhibiting publicly.

Aligned with the spirit of Matariki, the exhibition is a celebration of remembrance, reflection, connection and renewal, a living expression of whakapapa and collective identity.

Community workshops in flax flower and bangle making will run throughout, with family-friendly gallery activities for tamariki.
