Palmerston North Air Cadets Information Evening

Do you know a teenager aged 13-15 ( or 12 years old and starting year 9 in 2026) looking for fun, adventure and something new to do?.

Air cadets (ATC) is New Zealand's oldest youth development organisation (started in 1864) and is supported by the New Zealand Defence Force.

Whether you have a strong interest in aviation or not
Our programme offers those aged between 13 and 19 structured leadership, personal development, team work and adventure based hands-on training through a wide range of exciting and engaging activities such as aviation and flying experiences, bush craft, drill, camps, life skills, skills competitions, marksmanship, community service and lots more all while making lifelong friendships and having fun.

Cadets is open to everyone not just those wanting to join the forces beyond high school but its a great opportunity for those that wish to transition to gain skills and experience to set them up for success in military, emergency services and many other career paths.

Dare to take the challenge and come join No.10 (City of Palmerston North) Squadron - Air Training Corps unit in 2026.

For this event Registration is preferred, but you can also just come along on the night.
