Heritage Park Rhododendron Gardens is a mature 4.5 hectare garden 800 metres outside Kimbolton township. There are extensive rhododendron and azalea collections which flower July-December, exotic and native trees underplanted with perennails and flourishing borders (flower September- April) across terraced landscapes. Five reflective pronds provide opportunites for photogrsphers to capture difference aspects across the gardens and the natural beauty of the surrounding vegetation. Tui and Kereru greet visitors and swoop across the plantings. There are picnic tables and seats around the gardens.
