Celebrate the Māori New Year with whānau and friends here in Palmerston North. Get among the fun festivities that we have planned and learn about Puanga!
Following last year’s successful event, this year’s festival will be even bigger and better, taking place at the Central Energy Trust Arena’s Pit Lane.
The onstage performances will include kapa haka, live bands, and be headlined by the incredible Anika Moa. She’ll be taking the stage with her iconic voice and signature style, bringing her captivating blend of pop and soulful sounds to Palmy.
We’ll have plenty of food trucks and retail stalls, along with bouncy castles and a whole lot of fun for tamariki. There will also be a spectacular interactive lighting display of the stars for you to check out.
Puanga is a time for celebration, reflection and unity. Join us as we honour the traditions of the Māori new year and create lasting memories with friends and whānau.
