The annual Red Cross Book Sale at Kings' Birthday weekend is a huge 4 day event, with thousands of books, magazines, jigsaws, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, maps, comics, and sheet music for sale, all at very low prices. There is something for everyone, from preschoolers up.
Entry is via the Barber Hall on Waldegrave St, where there is plenty of free parking.
