Palmerston North Toastmasters is a vibrant, active club that nurtures its members, whether they be rank beginners or experienced speakers. Our members come from all walks of life. We have managers and students; farmers and computer consultants; librarians and life coaches. Some of our members are speakers of English as a second language, and others are sight impaired or physically disabled. At Palmerston North Toastmasters, we are inclusive.
Our club has a strong mentor programme. This ensures members have that go to person as they work their way through the projects.
We believe in getting the most out of our Toastmasters membership and this includes both giving and receiving effective evaluations.
Visit our club meetings to find out how to alleviate your fear of speaking and improve the speaking skills you've already got, all while enjoying the social interaction. We have a lot of fun.
Visitors should arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so we can introduce you to a buddy for the evening. This gives you someone to introduce you and who can answer any questions you have along the way.
Check us out.
