Water & Boat Safety
Get ready to learn some important water safety skills while having plenty of fun in the pool!
Our Water & Boat Safety session is coming to the Makino these school holidays, giving kids aged 8+ the opportunity to build confidence and learn practical skills that could help keep themselves and others safer around the water.
During this hands-on session, participants will learn about staying safe around boats and open water, using lifejackets correctly, what to do if they unexpectedly end up in the water, floating and survival techniques, and how to respond in different water safety situations.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to get involved, practise the skills in the water and put their new knowledge to the test in a safe and supportive environment.
Monday 28th September
11:30am – 1:00pm

Whether your child loves being around the water or you simply want them to develop some valuable safety skills, this is a great school holiday activity that combines learning, confidence and fun.
