WHAT ABOUT ME? (M) FILM NIGHT presented by film-maker Robin Kewell
1 Giant Leap film-makers Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman have created a unique music - film project. Taking along pre-recorded backing tracks on their laptop, they visit 50 global locations, adding successive layers of music by a diverse range of artists. They also manage to capture words of wisdom from Noam Chomsky, Will Young, Maxi Jazz, Ram Dass, Gabrielle Roth, Tim Robbins, Billy Connolly, Michael Michael Stipe and many more.
Musical contributors include: Alanis Morissette, kd Lang, Bedouin musicians, Chinese rappers, Gabonese Pygmies, Tuvan throat singers, Egyptian folk musicians and Japanese Taiko drummers.
The film is a moving, memorable, masterpiece and an absolute must see.
