Regular group dates and times will follow after the initial opening dates. Regular meet-ups are optional. This event will serve as an introductory event where you can learn some basics and chat with like minded people.

A new group just for women to learn some basic automotive skills together. Basics like changing wiper blades, locating items in your engine bay, how to go about doing your own oil changes, basic servicing like topping up water/coolant and changing your air filter, cleaning your headlights/changing lights, changing a tyre, jacking up a vehicle, jump-starting and changing your battery, as well as parts and tools knowledge.

This is an opening night and will become a series of meetups that will include demos of all sorts and a group of women learning together how to be a bit more knowledgeable and self sufficient, with some help of course! Starting with real simple basics in a comfortable environment, because you don't know what you don't know, and what no one has taught you!

There will be snacks! We will talk a bit about what everyone wants to get out of the group and how we can best organise, as well as covering a few basic topics and doing a few demos. There will be an opportunity to look up parts for your own vehicle and possibly get discounts on basic parts and service items so everyone can learn to service their own vehicle if they want.
