Terms & Conditions

The ‘Manawatū Garden Festival Survey' competition (the competition) is run by Central Economic Development Agency Ltd (CEDA), located at 5 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North, New Zealand. Referred to as “the Promoter” hereafter.

By entering the competition, you acknowledge and agree to the competition terms and conditions as outlined below, not limited to any additional terms that may be added at the Promoter’s discretion at any time during the competition period. The competition period is as detailed below.

General terms and conditions

1) The competition will be run by survey which will be emailed to you after attendance at a minimum of one of the participating gardens in the Garden Festival. To be eligible to enter the competition, you will need to have purchased tickets to the Manawatū Garden Festival 2025.

2) The survey will be emailed to the email address provided on ticket purchase and consist of a small number of questions relating to your experience of the Manawatū Garden Festival held between the 12th and 16th of November 2025. You will need to provide your name and email address and answer all survey questions in order to enter the competition.

3) The Entrant’s information will not be shared with any third parties by the Promoter without the express consent of the Entrant.

4) The competition is open to individuals 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.

5) Staff and immediate families of the promoter (or Shareholders of the promoter) are not eligible to enter.

6) The competition runs from 2.00pm on 18 November 2025, to 3:00pm Monday 24th November 2025 (the competition period), with the winner being drawn at random on Monday 24th November 2025.

7) There will be one Winner drawn. The Prize awarded to the Winner will be a $200 Prezzy Card.

8) The Winner will be selected randomly by a computer process that produces a verifiably random result from those valid entries received during the competition period.

9) The Promoter’s process and selection of the Winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10) The Winner will be emailed by the Promoter, notifying them that they are a Winner, by 24th November2024, and must contact the Promoter, by return email, within 72 hours of being emailed to accept the Prize.

11) By entering the competition, Entrants accept and acknowledge:

  • The information provided by the Entrant when entering the competition will be used for the purposes of the competition and for future marketing communications by the Promoter.
  • If the Winner fails to respond and contact the Promoter within 72 hours as per item 10 above, a redraw will take place to ensure that the Prize is awarded.

12) The Prize is non-transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

13) The Promoter at any time holds the right to amend any part of these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any time.
