A Destination Management Plan (DMP) is a strategic plan that sets out a shared vision between stakeholders regarding what their visitor sector should look like and what it will take to get there.

Destination management reflects a shift away from a sole focus on destination marketing to a more holistic and collaborative approach to managing visitor growth.
