Palmerston North's Centrepoint Theatre is the only professional theatre in New Zealand outside of the four main centres of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Professional theatres like Centrepoint play a vital role in growing New Zealand's arts community by creating work for professional actors, designers, and technicians - skilled practitioners who keep theatre in New Zealand thriving.
Since 1974, we have built our reputation on outstanding theatre designed to inspire, entertain and challenge audiences. We are particularly proud of our track record in producing Kiwi content for our local audience.
