We have a 9 Unit Motel with Heat pumps and comfy Beds, easy parking and extra if required. Free wi-fi and a Outdoor private Spa Pool. 7 Studios and 2 Family Rooms.

Centrally located between Palmerston North and Napier, on the way to the Hawkes Bay. Close to the Hastings, Waipukurau, Norsewood, Woodville, Wairarapa and about 200km from Wellington Ferry. Located on the southern end of Dannevirkes CBD on State Highway 2, the Gateway Motor Lodge is defined by its ideal location and renowned for an outstanding level of service.

Walk to Dannevirkes CBD which offers a large range of shops, restaurants, bars etc, or spend a day on our award winning golf course, which is only 3.5km from the Gateway Motor Lodge or if you enjoy tramping, walk one of the many tracks in the Dannevirke area.


Cancellation Policy:
PAYMENT POLICY CHECK IN 2:PM CHECK OUT 10:AM $20 PER EXTRA HOUR after 10:AM checkout. This applies to Telephone, Walk in and Drive in Situations. No payment is required at the time of booking, but we do require credit card details to secure your booking. Please pay on arrival. Your credit card will not be processed until you arrive or if the cancellation policy applies.All Payments are in advance unless already arranged with the Motel. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation policy is 48 hours, please Endeavour to contact us to cancel. If making a booking online, please check the terms and conditions within the online booking process to confirm the cancellation for that specific property. When booking by phone, or in person, please check with your hosts. CHILD POLICY Children will be charged at $20 per head, extra bedding is supplied. Baby cots is usually available on request. An extra charge may apply. BEDDING REQUESTS Bedding configurations are on a request basis only and subject to availability. Whilst we will do our best to meet your requirements, we cannot guarantee your requested bed type. SMOKING POLICY Smoking is NOT permitted in all units. If smoke is detected inside a unit there will be a MINIMUM charge of $150 to refresh the unit . CLOSE Your Doors and Windows while smoking adjacent to the units.
