Surrounded by trees, Hewitts Homestead is the ideal location to rest and relax away from the city. Hewitts Homestead was built in 1888 and has been refurbished quite a bit since then! Sit on the large deck or patio area and have a stroll around the garden whilst listening to native New Zealand birds. We have two horses, a pet sheep that loves attention, chooks, dogs and cats. Hewitts Homestead is also suitable for small groups to stop and relax for afternoon tea. If you are booking for a special occasion, please let us know in advance and we will help with the surprise or event. We are only 5 minutes to Massey University and 9 minutes to Palmerston North centre.
