Tangimoana Beach is popular with local fisherman using long lines, kayaks, and surfcasters where the often catch snapper, kahawai, and gurnard. The local campground provides a great base for holidaymakers, while the beach is popular for windsurfers, however not suitable for swimming.
Vehicle access onto the beach is very limited, and is suitable for quad bikes and four-wheel drive vehicles only.
Make sure to check our Guide to Staying Safe before getting into the water.
