The last in our Beginner series, this time to the Wharite transmission tower at the south end of the Ruahine Ranges. We will follow the Coppermine Creek track then head up the Wharite track through bush to the leatherwood belt, which can be a bit muddy. On a clear day there are 360 degree panoramic views over our local region and beyond. Contact Robyn 06 356 1998.
