What will happen to the late-night drinks, the chicken wings and the best Karaoke this side of the Manawatū River? The new owners are out-of-towners and the words “Asian Fusion restaurant” are muttered – the community is faced with some burning questions: Is this the end of their “community” as we know it? What will happen to the Annual Karaoke Competition? And why are the floors still so sticky?

Will “Wagon Wheel” ever be sung again? Will the lads ever sing “Mr Brightside” aloud at 2am? Who will hand out the lollipops now?!
