On behalf of the Manawatu Car Club, we're thrilled to announce an exciting Food Collection initiative for Manchester House Social Services. Recent articles in the Feilding Herald have underscored the urgent need for support, particularly in ensuring families have food on their tables. This reality deeply touches our hearts, motivating us to unite our community and extend a helping hand when it's needed most

Manchester House, undoubtedly a beacon in our community, needs no introduction, given the remarkable work they undertake. Yet, I cannot emphasise enough the extraordinary efforts they tirelessly pour into supporting countless families.

So, what does this Food Collection entail? Picture this, children and parents alike will be treated to an exciting spectacle while making a meaningful donation of non-perishable foods. We'll have three Manawatu Car Club Safety vehicles leading the way with flashing lights, followed closely by a convoy of race cars, rally cars, and drift cars - Adding to the excitement, parents may recognise another surprise vehicle—the original Police Car from 'Outrageous Fortune'.

All vehicles will be parked in Feilding Square starting at 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 5th, just before the Food Collection run kicks off at 3:30 PM. This offers a fantastic chance for people to drop their donations into the trailers before the convoy sets off.

Below, you'll find a list of locations where we'll make brief stops, just 5 minutes each. Families can gather at these spots, conveniently close to home, to enjoy the arrival and departure of the cars.
Please be aware that the convoy will maintain a controlled speed of 30km/h throughout the journey.
