This Adventure combines panoramic views with beautiful podocarp bush and a unique hut plastered in old hospital signs from Masterton. The Tararua Range is perfect for those wanting to experience our mystical and dense NZ forest, bustling with nature.
Be prepared for stunning views over the Tararua Ranges along the way. This Adventure combines a few of the best backcountry elements, including the chance to gather information on conservation efforts in the region (and how you can help) from a local expert and trapper. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains provide a traditional Kiwi hut a place to show of its unique characteristics (see pictures). Native wildlife spotting and the chance to assist in some trapping makes up a full-filled day in our native bush that any fitness, experience and age could muster. A good day of physical activity led by Bushman Emma and show-dog, Bushdog Coda.
Conditions: Only the those booked and mentioned at checkout are entitled to come on a booked tour. If you arrive with extra members, they will not be able to attend. All visitors must agree and follow the Bushman Tours Health & Safety procedures which will be shared with you by your Bushmen guide. All tours are subject to weather conditions and similar events, but we will endeavour to book you on another date when applicable. All ages welcome, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult.
Cancellation Policy: Visitors can cancel a confirmed booking at any time pursuant to our Terms and Conditions and we will refund an amount of the Total Fees due to the Visitors in accordance with our Terms. If your booking is subject to a deposit by Bushman Tours and the booking is cancelled, you will lose your deposit no later than 30 days from the commencement of your tour minus any administration fees as mentioned below.
