Stormy Point Route

STORMY POINT route:

on the country road

Reboot your senses along the Stormy Point Route. See for miles and get up close with ancient geology.

Take the Stormy Point Route where the views are phenomenal, stretching as far as Mt Taranaki, Mt Ruapehū and the West Coast of the North Island.

Discover one of the best-preserved sequences of river terraces in the world. This route takes you high above diverse, lush farmland, through winding

country lanes and past World Class rhododendron gardens, a boutique wool mill and a stunning artist’s haven. Keep an eye out for roadside stalls and be sure to call into the Feilding Farmers' Market on a Friday.
